What is Virtual Whitetail Habitat Design?

Thanks to advancements in technology, we are able to offer high quality virtual plans when an on-site visit isn’t possible. A few key factors that come into play for these virtual designs:

  • Using mapping tools like Google Earth Pro, GIS, and OnX we can get a great overview of what the land has to offer.
  • Pairing this with the information provided by the land owner, we get to work crafting the plan!
  • If you have your virtual plan and are still looking for more guidance, we offer additional Q&A meetings, ongoing coaching, and more. (See Below)

We compile all the information and start to develop a habitat plan that influences deer movement tailored specifically for your whitetail property. In the plan you will find:

  • Food Plots (kill plots, trail plots, destination plots, and soft mass)
  • Bedding Areas
  • Travel Routes
  • Water Holes
  • Mock Scrapes
  • Access Roads
  • Warm Season Grass & Conifer Screening
  • Edge Feathering
  • Timber Stand Improvement
  • Tree Stands & Blinds
  • Hunter Access
  • & More!

How does the virtual consultation process work?onsultation process work?

We start with an in-depth virtual assessment of your property using a variety of mapping software’s and tools. From there your regional consultant will develop a detailed habitat plan and report, following up with a 1:1 video call to ensure you understand the concept of design and answer any questions.

While you can’t replace the value of boots on the ground scouting, our virtual design process is thorough and based on the same principles and expertise as our on-site consultations, ensuring effective results.
Improvements can include food plots, bedding areas, stand/blind locations, travel corridors, mock scrapes, and more.

We use satellite imagery, topographic maps, and the media you provide to assess your property’s features.

The virtual design package typically ranges from $1,500-3,000 depending on property size, complexity and level of design detail.

A single 2 hour Q&A meeting ranges from $300-500 depending on team member. Please contact your regional expert for more information.
